I'm Alba, and I discovered how wonderful it is to create objects with clay in 2020.

Mërm Studio was born during the pandemic. A year of many changes and uncertainty.
At that time I was working in an office, without purpose or intention.

I still hadn't found what I was passionate about. Until finally the pottery crossed my path and aroused all my attention.

I began to learn in depth about the process, materials and everything necessary to create ceramic objects. Months later, in a self-taught way, I projected all that information into reality, creating pieces without expectations or rules.

Like all beginnings, mine was also difficult. With no experience in the workings of entrepreneurship, I officially quit my old job. Focusing all my energy and intention on this new project.

Mërm has been growing during these years in a surprising way. Little by little it has been taking shape, thanks to gradually perfecting the approach.

Through the pieces I try to convey a little of my essence. And therefore, each and every one of them is unique. The goal I want to work with through Mërm Studio is to give visibility to craftsmanship. To the dedication and work done from love and imperfection. Being really aware of the difficulty that this entails, fighting against the current industrialization and large-scale production.
